After losing my husband to cancer I decided on a career move and so went on to complete a course in fine art at Ware College.  During the time that I was secretary for Art of Imagination I also had the opportunity to explore the Mische Technique with Brigid Marlin .

 

My current paintings are mostly created using acrylics, watercolours and oils. I have always been fascinated by the changing landscapes and so when I have travelled to many different countries this has had a major influence on my work.

I have exhibited and successfully sold my work in different venues, namely Campus West Welwyn, Haileybury College. Richmond Hill Gallery, Pinewalk Bournemouth to name just a few.  My work has been acquired as far a field as Canada, USA, Jamaica and Thailand.  More locally I have also been part of the Herts Open Studio and one of my paintings has appeared in the Hertfordshire Life magazine.

I am always looking to learn new techniques but above all I love ART!
