Porto. Rain-slicked cobbles. A yellow tram rumbles through streets that haven't changed in a century. The hooded figure stands at the edge of the frame, head bowed, staring at his own reflection in the wet street below. Above him a drone hovers — paint dripping from its camera — watching, recording, tracking. He doesn't look up. He never looks up. The tram carries on regardless. The gilded frame splattered in multicolour acrylic — the paint drips from drone to frame seamlessly. Tracked is the most philosophical piece in the series — surveillance, self-reflection and a graffitied tram, all in the pouring rain.

He wasn't supposed to be here.He's never supposed to be here.And yet — there he is.
A hooded figure. Anonymous. Unhurried. Spray can in hand or already pocketed, work already done. He appears in canyons carved by three hundred million years of geological patience. On the most sacred rock in the southern hemisphere. In mist-wrapped ancient ruins. Beside mountain lakes so still they could be mirrors. On beaches where the light turns everything briefly, unbearably beautiful. He does not ask permission. He never has. He leaves his mark and moves on, witnessed only by foxes, emus, eagles and the occasional unimpressed seagull.UNINVITED is a series of fourteen mixed-media interventions on vintage and found oil paintings and fine art prints — classical landscapes and seascapes, each one a world of stillness and natural wonder, each one quietly, irreversibly changed.It began with a simple question: what happens when the modern world arrives somewhere it wasn't invited?We live in an age of noise. Of tagging and branding and leaving our mark on everything we touch. Of tourist footprints on sacred ground and graffiti on ancient stone. Of cable cars over Inca ruins and selfie sticks at sunset. The hooded figure in these paintings is not a villain. He is not a hero. He is all of us — curious, compelled, occasionally oblivious to what we're standing in front of, and entirely unable to resist making our presence known.Some people will look at these paintings and feel sadness. The sight of a spray can raised in front of Uluru, of tags creeping up canyon walls that have stood for millions of years, of human chaos intruding on natural wonder — that discomfort is real, and it is intentional. If the work makes you wince, it has done its job.Some will feel something else entirely. The audacity of it. The wit. The particular joy of someone who has climbed to the top of the world and written two words on the rock face, not because it needed saying, but because he could. There is something in that — something very human — that is not entirely without its own kind of beauty.Most will feel both. That collision — between reverence and irreverence, between awe and chaos, between the ancient and the urgently, stupidly contemporary — is where UNINVITED lives. It is where we all live. We are simultaneously the people destroying the world and the people who find it heartbreakingly beautiful. We cannot stop going to these places. We cannot stop photographing them, tagging them, turning them into content. And we cannot stop being moved by them.The hooded figure knows this. He has been to Zion and Uluru and Machu Picchu and the forests and the beaches and the storm-battered lighthouse coasts. He has left his mark on all of them. He has also stood very still, for a very long time, and simply looked.The fox watched him do it.It was unimpressed.But it kept watching.
