Sally would draw and draw, most often found with a pencil or crayon in hand. Taking A level art in one year and moving on to graduate with a BA (Hons) degree in Textile Design from Central School of Art and Design (now Central St. Martins) where she specialised in depicting animals with screen printed furnishing fabrics and creating toys made out of her own bespoke fabric.
After a career in business from running graphic design studios in large corporate organisations to her own design and marketing business, Sally closed her environmental awareness company to pick up her pencils again, and is now studying illustration with a couple of illustrated books to her name already.
Sally's style is as diverse as is the subjects and mediums used. From crayon to watercolour, acrylics and pastels to collage and textiles (sometime all of these on one piece of artwork!). "Exploration is the word; it's about the effect and the finish as much as how to get there".
