Paul Lambeth has travelled the world extensively and has been able to explore and discover many wonderful sights whilst learning much about the people and their history.
It was on one of these trips, originally inspired by the love of ‘Blues’ music, he visited The Shack Up Inn - on the Hopson Plantation in the Mississippi Delta in USA. Virtually unchanged since it was a working plantation it is a photographer’s paradise with rusty vehicles, old signs and gas pumps. It’s was here that he took these shots that evoke the historical connections and memories of that era.
