Paula Osborne

I have always had a passion for arts from an early age.

Best memories of school days were of “cutting and sticking” in infants school and drawing and painting throughout juniors.

Learning to use a sewing machine during high school opened up a whole new world.

Arts and crafts took second place to my career in optics and raising my family of three boys.

Now they have all flown the nest I have decided to work part time so that I can explore the arts and craft world once more.

For many years just an enjoyable hobby I am now experimenting what I can do with fabrics, wool, thread, crystals and glass beads.

Landscapes predominate my work as the ever changing colours I see from my window  inspire me  to represent what I see in what I make.

Interested in reiki for many years I have also made pictures using crystals sewn into the fabric to represent the chakras.

I am always exploring different techniques and experimenting with different materials.
