Oliver is an Illustration graduate of Brighton University having previously studied Art & Design at Herts Regional College in Ware. Recently he has developed the motif of towers into abstract worlds filled with colourful shapes and playful designs.
Oliver currently produces the majority of his work using Posca paint markers. These give him the desired effect of acrylic paint combined with the ability to enter into finer detail. The design of the pen gives the work its crisp street art look.
Early influences from artists such as Basquiat, Picasso and Kandinsky have fed into his work and with a slightly modern twist the work comes into its own.
During University Oliver also delved into the world of film and produced a range of videos that related to his artwork. The videos were successful and were played at the graduation exhibition at the Bargehouse OXO Tower, London. These, and many of his other pieces of work, can be seen at:
